Adding TEXT to printed form-
This is my first query- hope I am in the 'right' place ;)
I have several forms to fill in - Husband just admitted to Rest Home :(
I wish to scan form and then add text - tried in iphoto - lovely copy but can't edit.
This is my first Mac - after years of PC. Do I need to 'buy' a special programme?
grateful thanks to all

That's cool, it really depends on what you're gonna be using it for!
The Cinema Display has got a lot going for it aesthetically, but it's incredibly expensive and it's pretty limited in terms of capability. It really depends what you're looking to spend.
I know you said you were being pointed toward the Dell Ultrasharps, that's probably with good reason. They tend to offer the most affordable solutions for the price.
An example is the U2711, it uses the same panel as the iMac and ACD 27" but it's cheaper than the ACD and has HDMI, displayport, DVI, VGA inputs, as well as having around 6 USB slots. The main difference is that it is anti-glare coated, so not reflective like the ACD. It's also CCFL backlit, which isn't as power efficient as LED, although provides a wider range of colour.
Whether that's a big deal is really down to whether or not you do print or broadcast work.
There's also the U2410, another Dell Ultrasharp, I had one for a while, but it was too bright for my eyes so got rid of it, that said, it's used quite frequently by people doing print and web work and is an excellent monitor for the money, especially now it's had several revisions.
If you're looking for something glossy, I think it's pretty much the ACD or bust.

I will be going to Natick as well, not too sure what time though. All I do know is that it will definitely be early!

But no support for the Olympus E-PL1, despite the fact that the E-P1 and E-P2, which use the same file format, were supported in the last release, and the E-P2 is almost identical to the E-PL1. :(

Actually, just to come back and answer my own question:
It was because I didn't have the Alternate set under Image. After about an hour, simply setting this to the same setting as immediately above (in the first screenshot), fixed the problem.

Is the SwitchEasy screen protector high quality and does it resist fingerprints or attract MORE fingerprint?

Why are you asking? :)
Double Dutch Bus was one of my favorites.
Give it to Me Baby.
Wow, I could come up with tons if I sat and thought about it awhile. Dang, I want to go skating now. :o

Don't get it unless you are really desperate. It is too slow for anything but OS 8-9 apps (which would include Word 98, Explorer 5.2, and iTunes 2.x if you really want to use them). I recently bought a working iMac (266mHz, 6GB, 96MB RAM, no CD drive, original keyboard and mouse) from a friend for $5, and the only reason I feel good about it is that now I have a spare Apple USB keyboard.

Personally I wouldn't use Crucial unless it was free.
Support was great, however returning anything more than once is ridiculous.

I've never had a frayed iPod or iPhone cable.
Sounds like some people are pulling on the cable instead of pulling the plug area.

I'm interested in running an OBD app on my vehicle and have found that the Wifi dongles are significantly more expensive that their Bluetooth counterparts. I've read that iPhone does not use SPP, however I'm finding conflicting testimonials as to whether SPP is supported by the iPad.
Does anyone know if SPP is supported?

He didn't actually say there would be no Apple PDA in the future. He "downplayed" the possibility. But he could bring out any device, PDA or PDA-like and that would not make him a liar.
That said, I believe it is fairly unlikely at the moment.
But if they call it an iWalk I am going to jump off a cliff. That would be so embarrassing.

Apparently it is OK; here is a tweet from MuscleNerd:

Today's 10.2.1 iTunes is safe for JB+UL, like last week's 10.2 (fast release!) Even keeps new http://is.gd/qv6wpv feature

I cannot get my contacts into Itunes/Ipod. I exported them via palm tx as a vcard to the outlook folder that was empty. Then when I go to outllook 2010 I look under the address and there is nothing there. So I need step by step baby instructions (LOL) on how to get them into outlook then into Itunes and then into my Ipod touch. I hope someone can help me! Thanks Jerry
It sounds like either the vcard is dodgy, or outlook is.
Try opening the vcard in to Windows Address Book, once they're 'imported', you can go to iTunes > your ipod> Info (the tab at the top, might be called something else, you'll find it) > then check sync 'all contacts' > sync.

For me, it'd be quite useful even if just the people I care to see have one.
We video Skype every day to our family members in Hawaii, Florida, Nevada, D.C. I'd love to be able to use a smartphone to do the same on vacations, instead of dragging along our laptops for that purpose.
Many smartphone models sold outside the USA have front cameras for video calls. But apparently the quality and the cost have been some reasons that prevented widespread adoption.

ok found the answer: FireWire 400 to 800 Adapter!
Bingo. I've done the same in the past connecting a 23" ACD to a Mac Pro with FW800. Works fine.

Hello,
What i could like to create is a box, where the user will put in there username and password, and it will then fill it in on the main website.
I have placed a tempory exmaple of my site HERE (http://hampshiredoeyouthforum.uphero.com/edofe.html).
Let me know if you would like more details.

Greetings:
I posted this message a couple of days ago but it may be in the wrong Forum, plenty of people have viewed my request for assistance but not a single reply. I am running a Mac Pro and the application is Entourage for Email. The problem I'm encountering is... I cannot (Insert) a photograph into the context of the Email message. I can attach a Image file but seeing it in the Email context is not possible. I have looked over the setup-and features in Entourage and cannot locate where this can be enabled. Anyone know how to turn this feature on?:

Hi all,
I have a late 2007 24" Al iMac with BT and AirPort. I just ordered a Kindle Wi-Fi only from Amazon. I don't have (or want) a wireless modem.
Anyone know if I will be able to access the web by running the Kindle wefi to the iMac BT? I think both use the 802.11b/g/n standard.
Thanks for any info.
