I can activate "click lock" under control panel, but this only works for the left mouse button.
Considering it's the left mouse click that the OP is having issues with... you could have given more information as I'm guessing this is the solution to the OP's problem.
Look in the Mouse/Trackpad pref pane, or maybe under Universal Access.

^ But it's not too hard to do now. The iPad and iPhone have been out for years, and the DS even longer. I imagine they could do it.
I hope they don't, or rather I hope they don't ditch physical controls. I'd hate the next gen consoles to have an iOS-style controller setup, eep! That'd push me straight to PC-only gaming.
3D! 3D! 3D!

But the TV's are expensive...
It's not so bad now. For what I paid for a TV 2 years ago I can now buy the same brand, same size but in 3D (with other additional 2D features).
Personally I'm waiting for a more convenient display method like the 3DS.

Also, can someone let me know how to install this through iTunes?
edit: btw, thank you for posting this! I have been looking for this app since I got my ipad 2.

Why didn't you use migration assistant?
Why didn't you copy the whole iTunes folder? I did
I didn't know you could use that for individual items i.e. iTunes
I did but the playlists did not come with it...no idea why

I have a G5 with OSX 10.3.7 and I'm having the worst time with it. It wasn't so bad before but for some reason now, the WMV3 Codec is appearing in almost every video I want to watch on my Macintosh. Usually it gave itself away when files have the "WMV" type attached, but lately the codec is masking itself into even my trusted AVI files.
I've tried every possible solution, I've tried Windows Media Player, VLC Player, MPLAYER, etc. I've even tried converting the WMV file type to something else but the programs on Macintosh can't do it. I tried calling Apple Support but they wanted $50.00 just for me to talk to somebody. Is there any way to play this type of file? What, am I going to have to run out and conform to a horrible PC because of it? It's bad enough Macro Media Flash Player is trash on the Macintosh, but if I can't even view movies....what's the point anymore of having Macintosh? God knows I love the thing but really, this is just annoying :(
You probably weren't aware that Flash files (.swf) can be played in QuickTime Player just like any other movie, were you?
Regarding Windows Media format...
1. Microsoft makes a version of Windows Media Player available for Mac users just because they're probably required by law/contract to do so.
2. Microsoft cripples the Mac version because they can, and because the part of Microsoft outside their Mac Business Unit wishes the Mac would just go away.
This is why I avoid Windows Media format like the plague. I avoid AVI for much the same reason - there's no easy way to know what codec the AVI uses. IMO, AVI is a stupid idea - having a container format that can use just about any codec is bound to cause confusion. The QuickTime MOV format, the RealPlayer format, and even the WMV format are better than AVI because you have a much better chance of being able to play the file assuming you have the latest version of the player.

favorite one for me is a local computer shop. they build/fix/sell only pc related stuff, but the shop computer and the register computer are both imac g3/500 systems. both installed and working since new ('01, '02 ?) without any failure. it's fun to see this stuff still in use!

Huh thats what I usually do:confused: anyway im just trying to say it is a common problem and its not like they are going to replace your numchuck.
Common? Common would mean the majority. I don't see 50% of Wii nunchucks having this problem, just as it's not common for a 360 to break (unless that figure IS over 50%?).
OP - Just contact Nintendo. kick up a fuss and get some Wii Points too. If it's broken or just faulty then they will ship you out a new one. These are the guys who will replace DS's with a single dead pixel after all!

Be specific about what you want to listen for.
There are much simpler ways of listening for some things than kqueues or select(). It's called launchd. You tell it what things to listen for: a change to a directory, a request to establish a socket, a certain time or day, etc. It then runs your program when that event occurs. Your program doesn't run at all unless and until the event occurs. And launchd is a boot process, so it's always running anyway, whether you're using its services or not.
You configure launchd through plists, so you may not even have to write any code. You might be able to use an existing tool, or a simple shell script, that's run when the event occurs.
Not every possible event or condition can be triggered through launchd, but for those that can, it's a huge savings of time and effort.
man launchd.plist

Maybe the easiest way would be to have a program that creates a shuffled playlist which you could then open in a player. Most playlist formats are plain text and fairly simple.
If your player of choice can accept a playlist as a command-line arg, perhaps you could automatically launch the player and have it start playing the shuffled playlist.

Hi,
Is it possible to check when a button is pressed and released?
I wanted to do something when the button is pressed and something else when its released?
Let's say print press began when the button at the first touch and print button released when it is released.
Thanks,

I am trying to reinstall OS X on my old 2006 MacBook core 2 duo. I have a leopard install disk and a tiger install disk.
On boot up, i get the chime and then it spits the disk right out.
I have made USB images of both to try to install and when I Hold down the option Key, i get the mouse cursor to come up over the white screen but the usb drive does not load into the boot-able options.
any ideas on what i can do?
What i have to help are a
2011 Macbook Pro
2009 Mac Mini

I'm talking about the animals getting large dose exposures, like around the Japanese reactors. Birds get exposed then fly away and settle in populated areas. It was my understanding the this much radiation takes hundreds of years to dissipate. So if we assume the birds in my example don't get eaten by other animals (or be eaten by humans), if any exposed animals died they would still be radioactive and a health hazard to people coming across their bodies.
And what of the radiation the Japanese plants are pouring into the ocean, which can expose ocean life, that people might eat later in other countries?
I usually try to avoid dead, wild animals as a matter of course.
The radiation in the water is of concern to fish and seaweed nearby. They're already assuming seafood consumption will go down in Japan and imported meats will go up.
@Sydde, I didn't think about them carrying and distributing contaminated materials. Something to consider. It's a messy situation.

Gotta agree with you there... I heard about this story via word of mouth from an acquaintance. I searched for it, and "The Blaze" was the top and most reputable looking story.
Here is the Star Tribune (http://www.startribune.com/opinion/otherviews/119508364.html?page=1&c=y) piece if it will put you at ease
You do realize that the author of the opinion (the article is on the opinion page of the Star) piece is part of a very conservative, right wing think tank, don't you?
